Please help me Please please please?

What does the granulated limestone do? also, where can I get it and how much would it cost? Do you think this would be an acceptable science project to do for an 8th grade science honor student or is it too easy. how can I make it a little bit more complicated? Thank you thank you thank you.

Used as a filter for liquids. Try to get samples from someone who makes counter tops or grave stones. Probably get it for free as it is a by product and has no value to them in such small amounts.

granulated limestone is used to spred on soil to “sweeten the soil” Example if your soil is acidic lime is used toadjust the soil’s ph factorefrom acidic to neutral or slightly alkelins. Acidic soil will support the growth of moss. You can purchase it at your local garden store for a dollar or two. I have a garden store near me that gives its customers a small bag for free when they purchase a clematis for the garden. The lime is spread in the hole at the time of planting. Lime is also used on lawns to change the PH of the soil to encourage a healthy lawn. It also makes an excellent marker for grass baseball and football feilds. LOL

Now what were you going to do in your science project. WHile doing your project keep track of everything you will need and do in a project log. Good luck
