okay, I need some help on this problem:
I have a triangle,
hypotenuse = 22
theta = 15 degrees
find x and y of triangle.
Can someone show me step by step please?

You need trigonometry. The side that meets the hypotenuse at the 15 degree angle is the adjacent leg; it’s found using cosine:
cos 15 = a/22, meaning a = 22 cos 15
The other side is the opposite leg. It’s found by sine:
sin 15 = o/22 meaning o = 22 sin 15
So on the calculator (be sure it’s in degree mode) just type those in
