This isn’t a “gay” question—this is a VERY legitimate question–one that tax payers (including your parents and you later on) pay millions and millions of dollars on to help students succeed every single year.

Keep in mind that you want this to be the ideal classroom, not the ideal “day care” or ideal “vacation”. A classroom is about LEARNING skills to not only help you become a productive citizen in a democracy and our world, but to be an individual who will make intelligent, enlightened choices so that you are living a fulfilling life.

In order to learn things like good written communication, oral communication, logical thinking skills, mathematical skills (everything from fractions to calculus), how other cultures live, world religions, how history impacts today, etc—-what do YOU think would help students to learn or understand?

Do you think it would help to have more time one-on-one with the teacher?

Do you think it would help to be able to have certain kinds of technology available?

Do you think it would be effective if the hours/time of school were different?

These are just a few ideas. Think about how you might answer them with valid reasons you think change is necessary.

Don’t treat this as a “blow off” assignment where there isn’t a “right answer” as the poster who told you to “ask for a Nintendo”, etc. Don’t insult your teacher’s intelligence (this is the person who will be grading your work all year), and while you didn’t state all of the grading criteria, it’s likely that a “blow off” paper will receive a low grade due to the curriculum objectives the teacher is trying to see if you have mastered or not!

Best Wishes.

My first thought would be that the perfect classroom would have 1 teacher to one student. Must challenge student and then be available to help as needed. All materials needed must be nearby, etc.
