Reflexes help the body do ‘quick’ movements with out taking the time for a stimulus to go to the brain. For instance you put your finger in a candle flame..You automatically jerk it out. You don’t have to think ..oh my that is hot, that is going to hurt, pull out finger… The pathway goes to the spinal cord.
