Need help with some math problems. Please?!?!?!?

1. a/b (x) = 5b solve for x

2. A student makes a incorrect calculation of 25.6 on a test. They mistakenly divided by 1.6 to get this answer when they should have multiplied by 1.6. What is the answer they should have gotten?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

1) Multiply both sides of the eq’n by b/a. Then x = (5b^2)/a

2) x/1.6 = 25.6, so x = 25.6*1.6 = 40.96. If we multiply this by 1.6 we get 65.536
