19 sounds better to me.

19 divided by 2 = 9.50

25-9.50= 15.50

15.50 x 19= 294.50

294.50= 19(25-9.50)

294.50 = x(25-1/2x)

294.50 = 25x – 1/2x^2

1/2x^2 – 25 + 294.50 = 0

2(1/2x^2 – 25 + 294.50 = 0)

x^2 – 50 + 589 = 0

x = 31 or 19

R stands for revenue and x is the number of units

We know R= $294.50 and the number of units is what we need to find or x

$294.50=x(25-1/2x) (I’m assuming that’s one over 2x)

now solve for x

294.50=25x-x/(2x)

294.50=25x-1/2

295=25x

x=?

294.50 = x(25-1\2x) so 294.50= 25x- 1/2x^2

589 = 50x – x^2 so x = 19 or 31
