First step – come up with a thesis!

The legal drinking age in America should be changed to eighteen from twenty-one because at eighteen, you are considered an adult.

Paragraph one – You can in list in the army at 18, but can’t drink? You are adult enough to fight for you country but not to drink…

Paragraph two: 18 is the legal age one is considered an adult – being an adult should give you the rights to drink.

etc..

You can talk about how being 18 you can get married, but one cannot drink alcohol at the wedding reception.

Good luck!

A long time ago drinking used to be at the age of 18. They changed it because too many young people were drinking and driving more then ever! I believe this is when the Madd Program came about. 1. Title: Drinking @ 18yrs old. 2. introduce a person such as Bob just turned 18 and he’s dating Amber, she just turned 18 yrs old also. Give an idea about the two of them wanting to throw a party. There 18yrs old now! Something like that.

Not to be harsh or anything, but, the only person who can help you give it an acceptable title would be your teacher, as title grading is 100% subjective.

For the rest of it, I would recommend that you start by just plain writing down what you have to say about it and then going through and moving related sentences nearer to each other and then revamping those sentences to make sure that they’re still understandable that way, and then separate the places where the sentences are more distantly related to each other, into paragraphs.

Well i can’t like give you any grief but like it’s what you think so just say why you think it should be 18…. in my opinion i don’t agree with you but hey whatever, and i know what you are thinking that old lady doesn’t know anything but i’m like 14 dude. And trust me i have an 18 year old brother if he got to drink then i would be scared. But ur paper has to be 2-3 pages so just research why the legal drinking age is 21 and out when it was established, how they came up with 21, and dude just be as opinionated as possible!!!

Present the various arguments against lowering the drinking age to 18, and then counter with your arguments in favor.

Start or end with your strongest argument.

For instance, those against lowering the age will argue that 18-year-olds cannot handle the responsibility of drinking. You can counter that 18-year-olds are asked to defend their country as members of the armed forces, and are also eligible to vote and thus determine how America is governed.

Good luck with your essay!

The first paragraph last sentence should state what your essay is about. In your case drinking age should be adjusted to the age of 18. Be sure to state why in your essay

If it’s a personal opionion editorial…..Which it sounds like it is…..I’d say the effects of alcohol on young people, state statistics on how many young people die from car accidents (Alcohol related of course….), andd stuff like that. Just say why it’s not good and what it’s effects are….I don’t this helps much…butt it’s a start….Plus. Sometimes you should learn to write your own essays. haha.
