Math question, very simple, need help?
Can anyone please check if my friend’s answer is correct to the following math question:
Bob is buyiny a mango that weighs 1.6 pounds and costs $1.30 per pound. He is also buying a papaya that weighs 2.4 pounds and costs $1.90 per pound. HOw much change should Derrick receive if he gives the cashier $20?
My friend’s answer was $13.36.

1.6 lbs * $1.30 = $2.08
2.4 lbs * $1.90 = $4.56
Total = $6.64
$20.00 – $6.64 = $13.36

total cost = $6.64
change from $20 is $13.36
