well the two numbers on a dice divisible by three are 3 and 6

so think of all the numbers that equal three

2+1

3+0

well obviously a dice doens’t have zero. so far, you have one way the dice can be rolled (2+1)

now what numbers equal 6

5+1

4+2

3+3

there’s three more

plus the first one

equals four

you can roll the dice four different ways to get a number divisible by three

UNLESS

4+2 can also be done as 2+4

then you would have 7 possible combinations

sooooo

the 2 answers are

4 (if order doesn’t matter)

and

7 (if order does matter)

i hope this makes sense

just ask me if it doesn’t
