The square root is equal or more than the number itself when the number is equal to or between 0 and 1.

Assume the number is “x”.

x^(1/2) >= x when 0 <= x <= 1 You can prove it mathematically. If you need the prove, just contact me. 🙂

however, the square root of 1/4th is larger than it is, since

1/2 x 1/2 = 1/4
