The perimeter of a rectangle is 128m the length of is 10m more than twice the width, what are the deminsions?

Given: L = 2w + 10
Since two of its sides are L long, and two are w long, the following equation is true:
2L + 2w = 128 m
Substituting for L:
2(2w + 10) + 2w = 128 m
Solving for w, we find w = 18 m.
Then substituting that back into our original equation:
L = 2(18) + 10 = 46 m
So the rectangle is 46 m long and 18 m wide.
