Place all the x to one side and the numbers to the other side

55+ 10=2x +3x

65= 5x

divide x to its lowest term

x=65/5

x=13

Similarly, for x+6+x=28

group the x and numbers each to one side,

x +x = 28 – 6

2x =22

now divide x to its lowest term…

x=11

now for 61=6-8x-3x

61-6= -8x-3x

55= -11x

So to get a positive x, you got to divide both side by -11

x= -5

First you want to turn the euqation into y(#)=x So you want all the x terms on one side and the other terms, the numbers on the other so you do this:

55-3x-2x=10

+3x +3x

Then you have to deal with the two:

55-2x=10+3x

+2x +2x

55=10+5x

Then you need to do the ten:

55=10+5x

-10 -10

45=5x

Divide both sides by 5 to have just x and you get:

45/5=5x/5

9=x

Doing the same thing for the rest it should turn out liek this:

x+6+x=28

x+x=22

2x=22

x=11

And the last one:

61=6-8x-3x

55=-11x

-5=x

Hope that helps. If not email me at [email protected]

with the first equation, you would subtract the -3x and 2x and you would get -5x so the equation would look like this:

55-5x=10

then you would subtract the 55 from both sides ending up with:

-5x=-45

now you would divide the -5 from both sides resulting in:

x=9

The second one you would add the x’s together making 2x. the equation would look like this:

2x+6=28

now you would subtract the 6 from both sides making:

2x=22

lastly you would divide the 2 from both sides resulting in:

x=11

the last equation, you would subtract the 8x and the 3x making 5x, the equation looking like this:

61=6-5x

next you would subtract the 6 from both sides and the equation would look like:

55=-5x

now for the last step you would divide both sides with the -5 resulting in:

-11=x

hopefully i could help!

first combine like terms (all numbers with variables, all without). then subtract the numbers without varibales to get all the numbers with variables on one side. then divide the number attached to the variable, and divide that same number to the normal number. x should equal whatever.

Here.

55-3x-2x=10

55-5x=10

-55 -55

-5x=-45

divide -5 from each side,

x=9
