Math help????????????/?

i don’t get “general inverse sine and cosine relations” or anything that goes along with it– the equations with the capital letters (i.e.- Cos, Sin) and the inverses for those. can someone please explain that?

There is a lot to explain you should ask your teacher.

However I could tell you that the Cos and Sin inverses are used to find an angle. If you noticed that the regular ratios are used to find a side of the triangle and an angle is given . So when the angle is not known and two sides are there you find the inverse , it is an fraction and you use the calculator to find the inverse of the fraction and this gives the angle.
