think about this

where are most traditional radios used

who listens to the radio

when is the radio used

why is the radio used

cannot really “listen” to my computer while running from a typhoon and trying to get its current location

can listen to a lot of national sports broadcasts (Cuban is a billionaire) but cannot get the local high school game anywhere else. and what about traffic conditions while on the road

if you look at the audience of “Internet radio” it is filling in niche markets. i myself listen to one particular PBS broadcast, about three days late, when i want to listen to it. otherwise, nothing

hmm

i think that because people are broadcasting on the Internet

such as myself

(nightmajik radio)

it will affect the economy of the radio extremely because people will only listen to something that is easier to access and you can check up on reruns and such. it will make people realize that the Internet is a bigger convenience than using a regular radio ^^

but eh

that’s me =P
