Some of them are sentence fragments. They don’t have a subject and a verb (action word).
If you look at them as a paragraph, it’s very confusing, but taken one at a time you can quickly pick out the ones that have a subject and a verb (action word) and the ones that don’t.
Add the missing ingredient – subject or action word – to the sentence fragments you have identified, and link them together to make a logical statement.
Turning the attic into another bedroom was a great idea. However it was like living on the equator, especially when the sun is shining. I think I lost 10 kilograms this summer, just sweating in there. It has not improved, even with the cooler days now. Then again, if it is as hot in winter, I thought I could rent it out as a sauna! I can make money and stay in a hotel.
