I suggest you ask people if they will check it and then send it through email. You are more then welcome to send it to me through email. I have a BA in Literature so I could help.

It depends. I encourage my students to work with a writing partner in class. Editing helps you write better.
How is running your paper through a grammar checker, or spell checker, any different to getting help from someone else. Well, live help is a different thing. So, if you get live help will it still be your paper, your work?
Does my helping my child with homework, with writing, sound unethical? Only you can answer this question since it is your ethics that are the final measure here.

if you’ve written the essay yourself then it’s OK – but you have no idea as to the quality of the responses you’ll get here on answers – the responders might have no idea as to what constitutes good writing.

I do not know if it is the rules, but it depends on what you have in mind. If you want somebody to rewrite your essay for you, i think that is bad. But you can be guided. Get your mum or dad to guide, if possible correct your spellings, omission and other grammatical error

I think it’s OK. I used to proofread papers for my friends. I saw nothing wrong with it as long as I didn’t change the person’s ideas. I might have changed the wording to make their points clearer, but I never actually “corrected” anything that might not be factually true.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with so long as you are the author. It is those who ask for the general public to do the writing for them that is irritating.
