First of all, just relax. 7th grade is a fun year. It’s all new and exciting. You’ll figure everything out given time. Everyone has to take the same core classes (English, Science, Math, history). There are separate classes for the kids who need extra help. My advice would be just relax, have fun, and enjoy being a 7th grader. Don’t worry, everything will work out!!!

well it depends on your school. Mine now has 7 classes a day, plus lunch, but it used to be 8 classes but 4 each day (they were numbered and you would have the odd classes 1 day and the even numbered classes another. But it totally depends on the school. Are you going into middle or high school (in some places there are no middle schools and 7-12 is high school)… if there is a supply list i would get whatever is on it. If it really seems to be lacking heres what you need (atleast at my school): #2 Pencils Black and Blue Pens Notebook Paper (3 hole punched, not college ruled) TI-83 or TI-84 graphing calculator a few notebooks a binder a pencil case somewhere to write down assignments (if your school doesn’t provide agendas) dividers (i would buy at least 8) Try searching the school website for anything else they probably have a lot of answers on there. Also try emailing the principal or any email you can get from the school website.

no basic skills is a sort of a study hall, honestly you just get to chill out in the class, opening a locker is hard at first but dont worry administrators are there to help and plus you get your locker assignments usually during your homeroom so your teacher is there to help 7th grade is funn so focus on having fun and doing good in class 🙂

We had a life skills class in middle school where we learned stuff like managing a check book, typing skills, etc. It was mandatory and everyone took it
