if you wanted to compare the shoe sizes and the heights of all the students in your math class…?

what graph would you use:

a box and whisker plot

a histogram

a line graph

or a scatter plot?

I think I would use a scatter plot. Height on the Y-axis and shoe size on the X-axis. Get the measurements for each student, and plot a point for each one. A correlation (or lack of one) should be obvious.

hey mo

im working on that right now. its def. not a lin graph, cuz that measures time, and its not a histogram.

im pretty sure its a scatter plot. its possible i could be the box and whisker…but i dont think so.

hey what did u get for 3? i did 30 divided by .844428 = $35.53

im sure that is the right answer….but how do u show the proportion? cuz insn’t a proportion IS over OFand % over x ??

call me please =]]
