should you buy your tutor’s drink or should they buy thier own drink? you are paying the tutor by the hour.

They should buy their own drink if they want one. If you want to be nice, you can offer but no means do you have to.
Remember, you are paying them to help YOU…..they don’t have to help you because you are paying them!

If it was your idea to meet your tutor at the coffee shop, then technically you invited him, so you are supposed to buy his drink…. but it wouldn’t be horrible if you didn’t (most people don’t know the manners rules by heart anyway).
I would buy the tutor’s drink anyway, but that’s just me.

It really depends both parites are benefiting from the session, so either decision will do. If i was being tutored by a female I would naturally buy her a beverage.

You pay your tour only for the session he gives you, not for his extra expenses like gas, coffee, donuts…that’s extra. You each get your own thing. If he offers to pay for you, it’s cool.
