The fact of the matter is that the Space Shuttle Program will be retired for many years, by the time you are ready to go in space. However, there will be many other projects (Manned and un-manned…or, womanned and…) that will be coming up for your generation.

Remember, you need not go up to contribute. The true brains behind the accomplishments remain on earth. Physical requirements alone keep the vast majority grounded.

Study, study, study… And, special emphasis on math and sciences.

Respect and ability to follow directions, and recognition of authority and the wisdom of elders.
