I really don’t get how to do this. Is anyone willing to tell me how to work at least one of these problems?

8x = 2x + 4y
Since you have two variables, you need two equations.
Since the you’re dealing with straight lines, then 4x+7y and 2x+4y must sum to 180.
(4x+7y) + (2x+4y) = 180/
8) This is just like # 7.
9) Vertical angles are equal, so
2x – y = 8y – 2x
Since your dealing with straight lines, then the sum of (9y-2x), (6x+y), and (2x-y) must be 180.
That gives you the equation
(9y-2x) + (6x+y) + (2x-y) = 180
10) This is just like # 7.
11) Just like # 9.
