i need to write an essay on the “cask of the amontillado” by edgar allen poe?
im trying to find a good thesis statement for it. the essay needs to include how poe uses diction, point of view, and foreshadowing to create the mood of the story.
i’m really struggling with this. HELP ME please.

i love that short story. you need to say something about the wrong the killer was trying to revenge. he never says what fortunato done to him and some of the forshadowing would be all the events that took place to get to the tumb, all the wine that was place in certain spots and the fact that he kept inticing fortunato to turn back.
