it would help if you told us when u needed the essay done. if u have a lot of time, try looking at one of the many volumes of “college essays that worked at bookstores or on amazon.” keep in mind, tho, that colleges are really looking for essays that show your personality, not something blatantly self- serving about your work ethic. a personal, genuine essay about dealing with your grandmother or your parent’s divorce with some hints about how the experience made you grow as a person will be better for admission than a forced essay about how being in the student government attests to your leadership abilities. a lot of colleges also value a specific, meaningful event in your essay with a lot of graphic details, rather than a vague description of a relationship or after school activity. make a list of important events in your life, then try to describe visual details, your emotions, anything to make the essay feel real. whatever you do, dont try the five paragraph formula. no one is impressed by that. i went through this process last fall and these steps really helped. most college essay prompts are variations of the same five questions, so you can probably write one and just modify for each school you are applying to. good luck!!!

Usually when you need to write an essay for a college application, it tells you what they want to know about you. If it doesn’t say anything about what the essay needs to write about just write about why you should be accepted into the college. Try and think about what the person reading your essay would want to hear. Tell them where you want to see yourself in your future. Let them know about who or what encouraged you to go into college, and why. Show them that you are more than qualified to be accepted into their college. Most of all let them know that you are not going to give up, even if your whole support system comes crashing down. They want students that are willing to work hard for their degree. Good luck!

When I wrote my application essay, my intended focus was English, so instead of introducing myself in the typical way, I wrote a short story about my visits to my grandparents when I was younger. I incorporated my family values, my personal beliefs (it was a private college), and my strength in writing. It really depends on what you’re going for—if you know your major already, definitely include something about how you chose your major, and maybe a short story about when you discovered it was your passion.

One tip to help you write a great essay is to go to one of your English teachers and ask them to proofread the essay for you. They can help you to improve the grammar and spelling throughout the essay so it looks more professional.

If you can’t write an essay, maybe college isn’t the best choice for you. Just sayin’.

Let someone professional handle all of that for you. If you and your parents are serious about getting the university you really want, you need help. That’s how I did it plus I got a $5,000 scholarship in addition to my 1st choice of universities.

Well, capitalizing your I’s would help.
Just be yourself. Be honest. Don’t write what you think they want to hear.

Just tell them your name and age and your intended major. Say why you chose that school and what you intend to get out of it. Hope it helps.
Good luck
