The advantages are primarily in the savings for the cost of land. Skyscrapers are found in cities, where land cost is high, so it’s less expensive to go up.

Stacking the floors has the added advantage of putting plumbing in line from one floor to the next, and the sharing of walls/ceilings/floors reduces cost.

After a certain height, you have issues with moving people up and down the building, and pumping water to the higher floors can’t be done without supplemental equipment. The higher the building, the more you have to consider things like wind resistance, sway, and other issues.

They take less ground space and can house many more people.

It is difficult to bring water several stories high. Emergency exits are not as reliable because of the height factor. They block the beauty of the skyline…such as a pretty sunset or rainbow. Small air craft must maneaver around them.

Almost correct. the dew Point is that temperature where the relative humidity becomes 100%. Then water begins to condense to form fog and dew on cold surfaces. wer
