As with any language, there is more than one way to say something in Latin. If you show us your attempt at translation, we can let you know how you are doing.

For example, the crested eagle is from the genus Morphnus while the Black Eagle is from the genus Ictinaetus. Hawk eagles are from are from the genus Spizaetus. Within Spizaetus there are several species such as the mountain hawk eagle, S. nipalensis, and the black eagle, S. tyrannus.

There are a few you listed, like the leopard and puma, that consist of only one species, which you can find on wikipedia.

I can take educated guesses at a few more:

eagle = aquila

puma = puma

rose = rosa

I’m guessing they had no idea that the Australian animals even existed; but you could probably get them from their scientific nomenclature.
