Let’s say the points are (3,5) and (8,4)

Here is the formula to find out slope:

y1-y2

——–<-----(this line means divide) i x1-x2 It can also be: y2-y1 ------- x2-x1 (it doesn't really matter) 3=x1 5=y1 8=x2 4=y2 5-4 ----- = 3-8 1 ------ -5 your slope is -1/5

?
slope = (y2 – y1)/(x2 -x1)

Try this site and good luck!
