3a-2b=4c
To solve you need to isolate the variable a on one side of the equation.
3a=4c+2b
a=(4c+2b)/3 which can also be expressed as:
2(2c+b)/3 or (2/3)(2c+b)

First you add 2b to both sides making it 3a = 4c + 2b
Then you divide both sides by 3 making it (it looks like a fraction)
a = (4c + 2b)/3
