I need help figuring out a thesis!?!??!?!?!?!??!?!!??!??!????!?

I am in AP US history and our teacher gave Howard Zinn’s: A People’s History of the United States chapter 1 to read. I thought it was a really good chapter, but he said find the thesis statement in the chapter and quote it. I know what the thesis is, It is how the europeans screwed over the indians and how people were selfish for their own needs without caring for the nice people. But is there a sentence that is actually a thesis sentence? I mean I found the general idea, but I cant find the thesis statement directly from the chapter. I can give the link if you want to read an insert of it, because I know thesis are usually in the begining.

This does not have the whole thing, but it pretty much has the first page.

Look at the 2nd paragraph. Could the thesis statement be part of Columbus’ quote?

Sorry, I didn’t read your chapter, but I have a kid getting a Masters in U.S. History and your plea (of sorts) caught my attention.

I would attempt to find a thesis sentence in a quote of an historical document (like a treaty) or maybe if someone said something that covers it all… though documents are best.

If there are no documents or ‘real time’ quotes in your chapter, look for a sentence that best holds all the characteristics of your “take” on the chapter.

Best of luck and I hope you stay in the field.

i think of what it is announcing is: behaviour is desperate from whats around you no longer whats interior you, punishment and reward will confirm if a undeniable form of behaviour will stick (could no longer think of of the superb words, perhaps substitute into what form of behaviour you will act like??) he believes that behaviour isn’t whats interior it is desperate via your ecosystem, e.g acquaintances, impacts, television, radio and so on. desire this helps!:)
