I need an antithesis to describe myself. Can you help me?
Favorite Answer
By the way, NO ONE likes to classify him/herself. We LOVE to classify others and turn them into soundbites and bumperstickers, but not ourselves.
Barnstorm yourself. Sit down with a pencil and paper and write down as many things as possible about yourself. Produce a list with no theme. For instance:
I like cats, hate dogs.
I like biology.
I like to watch football on tv.
Love my father, hate my uncle.
Like books.
And so on.
If you’re serious about wanting a thesis about yourself AND an antithesis, pick one quality and then its opposite.
Another trick is to fantasize about what you’d like to see yourself doing in fifteen years if you could be your own hero and do exactly what you want to do. That will say a lot about how you define yourself–your thesis, so to speak.
