I have a paper that ask me… what are your reactions to the plot of the section?
is that the same as to asking me what my reaction was to what was happening. please help.. and if im wrong please feel free to correct me. thanks

Yes, it is asking you how the storyline made you think & feel.
Start off by “My reactions to the plot in this section were …” OR “The plot in this section caught my attention as I (felt/thought)…”
State how you felt and what part of the plot made you feel that way; What you thought and what part of the plot made you think that way.
