I am doing a project on teen pregnancy and I need help with finding research?

I need some reliable website where I can find research on this topic and I cannot use google due to incorrect information on there. Is there a website that can give me a lot of information on teen pregnancy? Please let me know if you know any, it would be a great help. Thank you.

Check ou www.wikipedia.org. It is an online encyclopedia that links to many, many, many websites involved with whatever subject you are looking for.

Hope this helps.

Hi! I see that others have already provided some good suggestions. Here are a few more:

Back in the 70s when I lived near Charleston, SC, there was a ‘home for unwed mothers’: The Florence Crittenden Home. I checked online, and found that they are still around, and that they have greatly expanded. They are a good group, and I’m sure you will be able to find information on teen pregnancies on their pages.

Here’s that link: http://www.flocritsc.org/

You will also find statistics and other info at the The National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy website: http://www.teenpregnancy.org/?bhcp=1

Planned Parenthood’s website has some information as well: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/

Good luck on your project!

Actually, Google is a fine search engine – you just need to format your search in such a way that it filters out all the junk. (Or most of it, anyway.) Try limiting your search to government sites, like this: “teen pregnancy site:.gov”. You’ll get results from reliable sources, and you won’t get a zillion of them.

Another option is to check with your local library. Many of them have access to online databases with lots of information, especially for researchers.

Good Luck!

Hi! Check with your local public library or school library. They have excellent, quality information and librarians that can help you find info quickly. They can usually help you over the phone, via email, via live chat, or in person. Here’s a link to library web sites -http://lists.webjunction.org/libweb/Public_main.html

They can help you find facts, figures, pro and con arguments, and more (all without using Google!).

Good luck with your project!
