How to solve a dividion word problem?

In multiplication word problems we do these steps

Number of pens 5

Money in hand 50

Total number of pens 5*50

Suppose the division problm was

How many pens can be bought for 8160 when each pen costs 6?

Solve the problm systematically like the mutiplication problem has been solved.

You just divide 8160 (the amount of money you have) by 6 (how much each pen costs) to get the number of pens you can buy. I’ll let you figure the answer out on your own. (Hint: use a calculator, Excel, or Google.)
