You should learn this on your own. Otherwise, you won’t know it for the test.

But for current help, go to Google and type

“Convert 80 ml to L”

ok i will not give you answers to those but will give you the way to answer them as well as future problems related… there is 1000 ml in 1 L so if you want ml to be changed to liter just divide the no. of ml to 1000.. there is 1000 m in 1 km as well, so if u want to get the no. of m in a km just multiply the no. of km by 1000.. there is 1000 g in 1 kg so you have to multiply 1000 to the no. kg. to get the g… hope I answered your question.. Good luck!!!

1.) .08 L

2.) 1980m

3.) 9750g

4.) .02km

Here’s how to solve these. It’s fairly simple as long as you know what you’re trying to get to. These are simple conversions and in all these cases all you have to do is divide by 1000 or multiply by 1000. I’ll show you a foolproof way too so you can do really hard conversion problems. This will show you what goes on when you convert from one unit to another.

Here’s the simple version:

1.) We have 80L and want to convert to mL. We know that there are 1000mL in 1 Liter so we divide 80 by 1000 and get .08L

2.) We have 1.98km and want to convert to m. We know that there are 1000m in 1 km so we multiply 1.98 by 1000 and we get 1980m.

3.) We have 9.75kg and want to convert to g. We know that there are 1000g in 1 kg so we multiply 9.75 by 1000 and we get 9750g.

4.) We have 20m and want to convert to km. We know that there are 1000m in 1km so we divide 20 by 1000 and we get .02km.

Here’s the in-depth way which shows how the units cancel out to convert to a different unit. First of all, we know that 1/1 equals 1, just as we know that 2/2 equals one. Well the same goes for units. m/m equas 1 and so does km/km. So when I say we cancel out units, I mean that when we multiply we get a unit over the same unit such as m/m and it cancels out to multiply by 1. So (1km/2km)*(1000m) would equal (1000m/2)*(1). This is because the km’s canceled out to 1 leaving the meters unit as the unit.

For the first one we have 80mL and we’re trying to get to Liters. So:

(80mL/1) x (1 L/1000mL) = (80L/1000) = .08L

To explain this we have 1 quantity of 80ml. So we write down 80 divided by 1. We want to get 80mL into Liters so we say how many mL are in a Liter? We know that 1 Liter equals 1000mL. So in order to get rid of mL we put 1000mL on the bottom so mL crosses out and 1 L on top. We then multiply the top and bottom and we get 80L over 1000. This gives us .08 Liters. You can do this for any of these problems, as long as you know what you want your end product to be.

For number 2 we have 1.98km and want to convert to m.

(1.98km/1) x (1000m/1km) = (1.98*1000m/1) = 1980m

So for this problem we start with 1.98km. We have one quantity of this so we put 1.98 over 1. We then ask How many meters are in a kilometer? We know that there are 1000 meters in 1 kilometer so we put 1000 meters on top and 1 kilometer on the bottom to cancel out with the kilometers on top with 1.98. This gives us the product of 1.98 and 1000 meters all divided by 1. The answer is 1980 meters.

3.) We have 9.75kg and want it in g. We do the same thing as in number 2.

(9.75kg/1) x (1000g/1kg) = (9.75*1000g/1) = 9750g

So for this problem we start with 9.75kg. We have one quantity of this so we put 9.75 over 1. We then ask How many grams are in a kilogram? We know that there are 1000 grams in 1 kilogram so we put 1000 grams on top and 1 kilogram on the bottom to cancel out with the kilograms on top with 1.98. This gives us the product of 9.75 and 1000 grams all divided by 1. The answer is 9750 grams.

4.) We have 20m and we want it in km. This is the reverse of problem 2, so you’ll see how to convert both ways.

(20m/1) x (1km/1000m) = (20/1000km) = .02km

So we have 1 quantity of 20 meters so we put 20m over 1. We then ask how many meters are in 1 km? We know that 1000 meters are in 1 km. This time, since we started with meters we put meters on bottom so the units cancel out. So we put 1km over 1000m. We then multiply 20/1 by 1km/1000 and get 20/1000km. This equals .02km.
