That depends on several variables, not the least of which is the type of corn that you planted. Feed corn, for example, ripens later than sweet corn. If you plant iearly n April the corn should be ripe about now. It takes about six months but the weather plays a large part in the equation. Corn doesn’t start to grow well until the days (and the nights) are warmer, so if you get a cold, wet spring, or the summer isn’t as warm as usual, the harvest will be late.

Assuming Northern Hemisphere (e.g., USA)
Farther North, the summer daylight is long, and plants grow fast and tall. It will take less time to grow up North than in the South.
Southern locations can start growing earlier in the season, but the time between planting and harvesting will be longer than a farm up North.
