Thick forest – would people be able to build wide roads? Race cars? Would it be smarter to build narrower roadways?

If the physical environment was:

Swamp – would people use wheeled vehicles? What type of vehicles would they use? What kind of sports would be best suited to this environment?

If the physical environment was:

High elevation (low oxygen) mountains, steep and rocky. Snowy in winter. How would people get food and shelter. What kind of transportation would they use? What kind of sports would be possible and what wouldn’t?

Can you think of other physical environments that would cause obvious hardships in the way people do things? Answering these questions will help you understand and answer your original question.
