How do I know which operations to use while simplifying a polynomial? ex: (5x+3y²) – (6x³+2x)?

Do the easiest ones first! Add or subtract anything you can, then move to multiplication and division, followed by again adding or subtracting anything you can. Then and only then when it’s a simplified as possible resort to taking roots if (applicable), followed again by adding or subtracting and then multiplying or dividing to simplify.

Are you findi the value of x? If yes, expand first the equation (6x+2x).. I think the equation is simplified?
