How do i do this math problem?

Ho wdo i write a equation or inequality to model the situation:

the distance (d) is 1 and 1/2 miles more than the distance (p) to the park

The perimeter of a square with the side length of (s) is greather or equal than seventy plus five

Kyra’s age is at least 3 more years than al’s age

Please solve and show me how to do them.

IS means =

MORE means +

AT LEAST and GREATER THAN OR EQUAL means >=

Substitute a variable (D, P, A, S whatever) for names. And then write it out.

So the first would be D=1.5+P

The second is P (perimeter) >= 75

You also know P = S*4 (a squares perimeter is 4 sides)

The third is K (kyra’s age) >= A (als age) + 3

Make sure you re-read it to be certain the equation says what you want it to say.

just tht kid over there
1. u add 1 1/2 miles to the distance to the park park = p

1.5+p=distance

2. 4s (greater than or equal sign) 75

4 * the perimeter equals 75

3. Kyra= al plus 3

See, this is why our education system is the laughing stock of the world right now. All our students are LAZY. Yes, LAZY, and here’s the proof.

“Hey, can you do my homework for me?”

And people are sitting here giving you the answers. I find legit questions, and tell people how to find the answer, but I would never do someone the disservice of giving them the answer.

for the first one: d = (1 and 1/2 miles) + p

for the second one : 4s > or = 75

for the third one : K > or = 3+A
