So taking the example of the $59 item, 7.25/100 x 59 =4.2775
=4.3
Note: I round it to the nearest cent because my country does not have 1 cent coins so you need to do the rounding off yourself.
so I add $4.30 to $59, I get $63.30. So you would have to pay $63.30 in total.
That is assuming they do not have other extra charges like my country does.
so multiply .0725 by the original price then add the result to the original price
59 x .0725 = 4.2775
59 + 4.2775 = 63.2775.
Round that off and this item should cost $63.28
so your equation would be- what is 7.25% of 59
you idenify your unknown which would be is use the varible i
i/59 = 7.25/100
Then mutiply
