The obvious scripture relating to this comparison is found in Romans 12:4-8 where it compares a body of believers to the human body. But to take it a step farther lets explore the arena of the mind. Just as our body has a command center called the brain our lives in Christ have a sovereign Lord overseeing and guiding our steps. Each of us have a will (that within us that chooses whether to follow the dictates of our minds). Our mind simply holds information that we utilize or disregard at our will. Depending on what we have bothered to file away in our minds our thinking is either a reliable and constructive force in our lives or one that could continually create havoc. The same is true of our Christian walk. As Christians we have an additional source of power, guidance and truth called the Holy Spirit. Depending on the amount of truth we seek through the word of God we will either have an accurate and forceful understanding of who we are in Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to empower us with that truth or we will remain poverty stricken in our own minds. Man may not act on his convictions, but man will always live out what he truly believes.

How about starting with the belief of ethics that you’d have to preserve life in all the natural means possible (Sorry but I can’t think of any other way to state it). I’m sure you being in the Human biology course, you’ll surely be a doctor. Why not say something about how God expects us to be of service to others and show our love to each other except that being a future doctor, you are more in the physiological sense of serving others like healing.
