Do it at the same time everyday. Come home from school and get a snack or something. maybe go online for a little or watch tv. then after a half hour break, do your homework. do this everyday and it will become more of a routine and you won’t think of it as boring, it’s just something you HAVE to do, like a chore. Be in a quiet room where it is just you. Music and tv while doing your homework will only distract you. Have your full attention on homework and you will be more productive.

I am a history teacher, and as I am sure you are aware, many students find history to be very boring and have a lot of trouble getting through the reading material.

I always tell my students to read the chapters like they would read a love letter from someone they are intrested in. Have you ever realized when reading a love letter that you read what the person wrote, then think about what the person is saying? Maybe you will then read it again, and try and think about what the person is really trying to say.

This helped me get through many of my boring classes, and actually helped me to retain much more of the information, then if I would have just read the material like I normally do.

I assumed there is no pressure on your homework..If you have difficult assignments and test for the next day, it’s not boring but confusing and frustrating. Reward yourself after you done your homework like watching your fave TV programs or going out/play/fun/nice rest or vice versa.. it should be balance or you would end up bored everytime. I did my homework late at night so there’s no distraction and I was about to go to sleep, the music or TV sounds keep me awake anyway for couple of hours study, I do feel bored when there are many things going around me and I can’t be part of it..it’s like temptation. it’s either punishment or reward. I did choose reward.

Work in a quiet place. Clear your mind about everything else. Know that the less boredom that you have the better and quicker you will finish your homework and be able to get onto something else.

do it when you first get home because if you do it late at night you dont feel like it and you get bored easier. also turn on the radio or do homework with your friend.

If you can easily concentrate, trying listening to music while doing your homework.

wheneva i do homework witch is alot i listen to music my fave tunes and sing along with ’em

i find im more productive. but sometimes when i really need to think i turn it off

do home work with your friends…

or if your home work involves memorizing infos… you can put a poster of your favorite actor or your crush… imagine that you are talking to him while you recite your home work… it will also keep you awake…
