Home work questions about New Haven Connecticut.?

Today in English class my teacher gave us an assignment, to research New Haven and it’s mythic status as an “enclave of very old moneyed wasps.” However, despite my relentless google searches, I’ve yet to find anything remotely similar. So my questions are: Is New Haven really a hub for the mega rich,

what are the well to do neighborhoods in New Haven,

and is it true that Yale university is full of average( b and c) students, who only got in because there fathers made generous donations to the university?

New Haven isn’t rich, but towns closer to New York City — including Darien, New Canaan, Weston, Westport, and Wilton — are.

Yale admissions are need-blind, meaning that financial statements are kept separate from admissions applications. And only 15% of Yale students are legacies (sons & daughters of alumni).
