what is the thickness if the area is 30.2cm square and volume of 5.2 x 10 to the -3 cm cube.

‘thickness’= 30.2 x 0.0052

Assuming that the shape in question is something like a box or a cylinder, where the Area you mentioned is the area of the Base (or one side of the box or cylinder), then you solve it as follows:

Think of the Area as that piece of flat surface sitting on the table, and the Volume is the 3-D object of that flat surface rising up. In other words Volume = Area X Height. In your case, Height is the same as Thickness.

Put the formula another way, Height = Volume / Area. Now plug in your numbers to get the answer.
