Help with proofs?

I’m insanely confused at the moment with some proofs on my homework. Here are pictures of the triangles: http://i22.tinypic.com/b6avk4.jpg [< for angle sign I guess and ~= for congruent] The top one is for the first proof: Given:

1.

ADC + CDB = 180deg (ADB is a straight line)

Therefore CDB = 180deg – ADC

CEA + AEB = 180 deg (CEB is a straight line)

Therefore AEB = 180deg – CEA

As ADC = CEA (given), it follows that CDB = AEB.

2.

I think you mean ACB is a right angle, not ABC.

m + g = angle ACB = 90deg (given)

Therefore m = 90deg – g.

a + g = 90deg (given)

Therefore a = 90deg – g.

Hence a = m.
