f(x) = 6-5x+11x^2

f(a+h) = 6-5(a+h)+11(a+h)^2

= 6-5a+5h+11(a^2+2ah+h^2)

= 6-5a+5h+11a^2+22ah+11h^2

f(a) = 6-5a+11a^2

f(a+h)-f(a) = 6-5a+5h+11a^2+22ah+11h^2 – (6-5a+11a^2)

= 6-5a+5h+11a^2+22ah+11h^2-6+5a-11a^2

= 5h+22ah+11h^2 (the 6, 5a, and 11a^2 cancel out)

A better way to write it: 11h^2+5h + 22ah
