ok so here is the question on my homework:
If the SUN is at a distance of 1.5 X 108 km…
and its ANGULAR SIZE is 1800”…
then its DIAMETER is ?
This is my answer, 1.31e+5 km
is this right
can any explain it to me?

Your calculation is off by a factor of 10…
Angular size = 1800 arcseconds or .5 degrees
distance = 1.5 * 10^8 km
diameter = distance * angular size in degrees/180π
d = 1.5 * 10^8 * (.5/180π)
d = 1.33 * 10^6 km
