Plot in a sentence: A shipwreck strands a bunch of noblemen on the island of a wizard who they exiled many years before.
Theme in a word: forgiveness
It takes place on an island somewhere in the Mediterranean, though the event on which the story is (loosely) based happened in the West Indies. The time period is vaguely Renaissance, like many of Shakespeare’s plays.

If this is for a homework assignment, as I assume, why are you requesting answers from others instead of reading/researching
this independently? Isn’t there a library, near your home, where you can locate either, a copy of Shakespeare’s text or, a set of Encyclopedia Britannica?
As life is not composed of “easy answers”
