Treaty of Versailles.

This was the peace treaty which brought World War 1 to an end – signed on June 28th, 1919.

In French, that would be Le Traite de Versailles or Le Pacte de Versailles.

NB – the final ‘e’ on ‘traite’ has an acute accent .

I can’t work this out… Tres and Versailles exist in French, ed could be et(=and) but tyof??? Anyway there must be a word missing , ’cause tres should be followed by an adjective, and cannot be placed at the beginning of a sentence. It could be something like “Versailles est tres” ….? [Meaning: Versailles(it’s the name of a town) is very ….]

Versaille? Sounds like a french town, similar to Marseille. As for the words, the two middle ones have been spelled wrong, and I can’t get those, I know for a fact that ‘très’ means very.

Sorry if I couldn’t be anymore help.
