[ 2x/(x-1) ] <= 1
[ 2x/(x-1) ] - 1 <= 0
2x/(x-1) - (x-1)/(x-1) <= 0
[2x - (x-1)] / (x-1) <= 0
(x+1) / (x-1) <= 0
-1 <= x <1
P.s: To get the inquality, subst values where x<-1, -11, x=-1 and x=1 to see for which values of x, x is <= 0

multiple the (x-1) across so that it cancels out the one side that it is orginally on and will be 1(x-1) on the other. you’ll have 2x<= 1(x-1).....solve it from there.
