Help on correlation coefficient?
I need the answer to this question, help is greatly appriciated and I will award you with 10 points or whatever it is.
A statistics package gives the values of r^2, where r is the correlation coefficient between two variables. If r^2=0.54, what are all possible values of r?
If you can tell me how you got the answer too that would be greeeeaaaaaaaaaat.

Take the sq root of .54.
Both the possitive and the negative number are valid answers.
