how about trapped on a island…you find berries and coconut to eat, etc. Or, you are trapped in a locked bathroom, or locked in a dept. store, find the location first, then decide what you would do. (stay calm for one – like waiting for the store to reopen, in the meantime you munch on snacks in the candy section)

you could write a diary entry! like you were on a cruise with your friends and suddenly there was thunder or something bad, and everything became a blur. you end up at an abandoned island. + in the diary you express how desperate you are to escape but there’s nothing except you on the island.

I would write about how you would entertain yourself with the bare minimum so you wouldn’t go insane. A buddy of mine had a brief stint as a POW and was in a similar situation, he has some very vivid stories as to how he entertained himself to keep his mental balance and how he used his own body weight to maintain physical fitness.
